Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

I am excited to be teaching 7th grade Math this year at the Buffalo Ridge campus.

7th Grade Math students will be utilizing the CONSUMABLE TEXTBOOK: Savvas Realize: enVision Florida B.E.S.T. Mathematics Grade 7

Your student may utilize the textbook’s website, accessible through Clever, for additional skills practice as well as working in ALEKS Math throughout the school year to develop this skills and readiness for the Florida B.E.S.T. test at the end of the year.

This year the students will be working in I-Ready to complete Math Lessons based upon their diagonostic results.  The students are required to compelte 5 lessons by the Middle of each Quarter and 10 lessons by the end of each quarter for a total of 40 Lessons for the school year.  The first 5 lessons must be completed by 9/18/23 and the first 10 lesson by 10/13/23.  Please make sure your student is working in I-Ready to complete their lessons.  Their work will be entered as a Mastery Grade in Sykward.  The second 4-5 lessons must be completed by 11/17/23 and the second 8-10 lessons by 12/22/23.  Again, please make sure your student is working in I-Ready to complete their lessons.  Their work will be entered as a Mastery Grade in Sykward for Quarter 2 as well.  The third 3-4 lessons must be completed by 2/9/24 and the third 6-8 lesson by 3/13/24.  Please make sure your student is working in I-Ready to complete their lessons.  Their work will be entered as a Mastery Grade in Sykward for Quarter 3.  

All assignment will be listed in Google Classroom and will also be displayed on the calendar below for the appropriate class period for the date that any assignment is due.
